CLINIC 
GOALS AND OBJECTIVES

 

 The hitting and fielding clinic will be geared towards helping kids of all ages understand what it takes to build a solid foundation in each area-hitting & fielding. Wes will discuss concepts to teach  young players skills to aid them in growth & development as the game speeds up. The clinic will also help athletes with preparation and building confidence which will translate in practice and games.

Wes Helms played in the MLB for 12 years. After retiring from the MLB he coached at the high school level for 6 years, coached at the double and triple A level for 2 years, and managed at the triple A level for 3 years as well.

He is the CEO of CamWood Bats. Camwood is a wood training bat and game bat company. The game bats are MLB approved. On the development side, they offer virtual training programs.
